The C98AIR-407-14 pairs one 77GHz millimeter wave radar with four AHD 1080P cameras, and the two sensors warn the driver in two stages instead of one.

Stage one is the radar. It picks up vehicles up to 40 meters away and pedestrians at 10-15 meters, and keeps tracking them as they move. When it detects a target, the 7 inch monitor shows the distance as a digital reading and sounds the alarm - so the driver knows something is back there, and how far away it is, long before it becomes a threat.

Stage two is the AI camera. Once an object closes to within 5-10 meters, the cameras recognise what it actually is and mark it on the monitor with a red square, and the alarm sounds again. The radar tells the driver "there is something 30 meters behind you"; the camera tells them "it is a person".

Because the radar works on millimeter waves rather than light, detection holds up at night, in rain, and in dust. The four IP69K metal cameras add IR night vision on top, so the driver keeps a clear picture around the vehicle in any weather, from -40C to +85C.
