The C98AIR-407-14B is built for a problem a monitor alone cannot solve: the people outside the truck cannot see the screen. It pairs a 77GHz millimeter wave radar and four AHD 1080P cameras inside the cab with an external audible-visual alarm mounted on the vehicle, so the warning reaches both the driver and everyone working around the vehicle.

The first warning comes from the radar. Working at 77GHz, it holds a lock on vehicles up to 40m away and on pedestrians from 10-15m, refreshing the distance as they move. That figure appears on the 7 inch monitor as a digital readout, together with an audible alarm, so the driver gets warning before the object is close enough to matter.

The second warning comes from the cameras. Inside 5-10m the AI takes over: it works out what the object actually is and frames it on screen with a red square, alarm sounding again. A distance reading cannot tell you whether that shape is a vehicle or a person; the camera layer can.

The third layer sits outside the cab. An external audible-visual alarm speaker mounts on the vehicle body and triggers together with the in-cab warning, so pedestrians, cyclists and other drivers nearby are alerted at the same moment as the driver. On sites where people work close to moving plant, that outside warning matters as much as the one inside the cab.
